Dettagli

Misure: 160 x 80 x h 75,5 cm; cassettiera, 40 x 56 x h 61 cm

TECNO, GRAPHIS DESK BY OSVALDO BORSANI AND EUGENIO GERLI, 1970s

Desk from the Graphis series, produced by Tecno based on a 1968 design by Osvaldo Borsani and Eugenio Gerli. The project originated as a modular office furniture system, conceived to allow different elements to be freely combined and subsequently expanded over time with new colour and material variations. The initial versions, made of laminate and metal and characterised by a strict monochromatic white finish, were later joined by additional colour options and the possibility of choosing a wooden version. This desk stands out for its elegant combination of brown-painted metal, used for the frame and drawer unit, and the warmth of the walnut tabletop. The result is a desk with clean lines and a refined character, functional for everyday use and equally suited as a statement piece in a domestic setting. The Tecno logo is present on both the drawer unit and the legs. Italy, 1970s.

Condition: Very good, with signs of wear consistent with use and age.

Dimensions: 160 × 80 × H 75.5 cm; drawer unit: 40 × 56 × H 61 cm.
