Grande mensola in noce e laccatura rossa decorata con figurine classiche, Italia anni '50 Article ID: mobmod00193
Ampia mensola in legno di noce dalle linee sinuose, composta da due elementi di egual forma disposti ad angolo. L’elemento perpendicolare alla parete, interamente in noce, costituisce il piano d’appoggio; quello aderente alla parete, invece, svolge una funzione prevalentemente decorativa. Quest’ultimo presenta un fondo laccato in rosso porpora, dal quale emergono figurine bianche ispirate all'antichità classica, mentre il margine inferiore, aderente alla parete, è impreziosito da una greca bianca. Un raffinato esempio di produzione artigianale italiana di alta qualità. Italia, anni '50.
Condizioni: molto buone, segni ed usura si devono all'uso e al tempo.

LARGE WALNUT AND RED LACQUER SHELF DECORATED WITH CLASSIC FIGURINES, ITALY, 1950s
A large walnut shelf with sinuous lines, composed of two equally shaped elements arranged at an angle. The element perpendicular to the wall, made entirely of walnut, serves as the shelf; the one attached to the wall, on the other hand, serves a primarily decorative purpose. The latter features a purple-red lacquered background, from which white figurines inspired by classical antiquity emerge, while the lower edge, attached to the wall, is embellished with a white Greek key. A refined example of high-quality Italian craftsmanship. Italy, 1950s.
Condition: Very good, signs of wear due to use and age.
